Where and when is the Relay For Life Celebrate and Remember event taking place?

How do I sign-up?

Tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster here

If you are participating and would like to fundraise for The Irish Cancer Society click here to create your page after you have purchased tickets.

How can I buy a candle bag?

Candle bags for the event can be purchased either online here or in any of our Irish Cancer Society Retail Stores. Click here for locations.

When you purchase a candle bag online, we will add your personal message to the bag and place it at the event.

If you purchase a bag in one of our Retail stores you can decorate it yourself and return it in-store before the deadline, 09 September 2023. 

What is the ticket price?

Tickets cost €15 plus €1.55 Ticketmaster booking fee.

Tickets for survivor participants and Under 18s are free of charge.  

What types of tickets are available?

You can purchase the following types of tickets:

Survivor Participant: 

Walk the opening lap and receive a VIP guest experience. Free entry and Survivor t-shirt provided. 

Relay Team Participant: 

Participate as a team. Walk the track and fundraise for the Irish Cancer Society. Free participant t-shirt provided at the event. 

Spectator:
Come along to watch and experience the magic of Relay including the candle of hope ceremony.

 

Do I need to fundraise for the event?

If you are participating in the Relay event as part of a team we encourage you to fundraise in advance of the event. You can create a fundraising page here and can also create a team. 

How many team members do I need to have?

There is no minimum number for a team, however we suggest a maximum number of 20 per team to ensure everyone gets sufficient time on the track. 

Can kids attend the event?

Yes, children under the age of 18 are welcome to attend the event free of charge but must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian at ALL times.

How do I get my t-shirt for the event?

T-shirts can be collected at the Stadium on event day. 

Does everyone get a t-shirt at the event?

T-shirts will be provided for anyone participating as a Team or as a Survivor. 

General attendees do not receive free t-shirts. 

How will I receive my tickets?

Once you've purchased your tickets you will receive an email from tickets@universe.com which is a Ticketmaster company. 

The email will contain a .pdf attachment with tickets and QR code which can be scanned at the event.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, you can bring the ticket on your phone and we can scan from there.

My ticket was sent from tickets@universe.com is this correct?

Yes, Universe is a Ticketmaster company. 

Are dogs allowed?

We are unable to accommodate dogs or pets, other than assistance dogs at the Stadium, however you must contact us at relayforlife@irishcancer.ie in advance of booking your ticket to discuss your requirements.

How do I get to the Aviva and is there Parking?

You can find directions and information on parking here. Parking at the stadium is very limited and on a first come first served basis, so we encourage everyone to get public transport on the day where possible.
