For Team Bluebellies’ captain, Lisa, that reason is deeply personal. Having relayed for several years, she shares why she keeps coming back to Relay For Life Wexford, and what it means to her and her team.
She also captures something many people say after their first Relay: you might not plan to stay the full 24 hours, but once you’re there, the atmosphere makes it almost impossible to leave.
It’s a powerful reminder that Relay is about more than just the event. It’s about coming together to support one another, to remember, and to be part of something bigger.
