We’re fundraising for a great cause
Hi All, Marie W, Mairead G, Carmel M & Karen N have set up the "Never Forgotten" team here in Sligo, Relay for life, a fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society.
We lost our beautiful friend Breda Duke Fitzpatrick last December after a short illness. We shared a wonderful friendship with Breda since our college days in ARTC for over 30 years. We want to come together to remember not just Breda but all those who have fought the fight but aren't with us today. We'd love for you to become a member of our team, making a donation and joining us at some stage over the 24-hour walk on September 13th (Which actually happens to be Breda's nine month anniversary) at ATU Sligo in honour of all those you have lost and in doing that raise some funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
Join our team and in doing so donate, no amount is too big or small.
Once we have all the team members we can align to organise times that will suit you if available to walk & talk about all those not with us but “Never Forgotten”
We will have a memory book on the day so please bring a photo, write a few lines. No loved one too young, old, a long time gone or just left us like our Breda who can't be remembered.
