This year I'm taking part in the South County Dublin event at Corkagh Park, Naas Rd, Newlands Cross, Dublin 22. An amazing community event that will take place over 24 hours.

I’m fundraising for a great cause

Funds raised from this event will support vital support services for people living with cancer. These much needed funds will help the Irish Cancer Society continue to provide Night Nurses, Volunteer Drivers, a freephone Support line, counselling sessions, fund life changing research & much more.

Brain tumour survival

Thursday 22nd Feb

Hi everyone I'm Sandra 34 years old mum of 3 kids wife to my husband 💕 at September 22nd 2023 I was diagnosed with brain tumour. My all life turned upside down, and all my family to. I had my surgery on 9th November recovery was ruf and now I'm 3months post surgery but still struggling. I saw my neurosurgeon on 15th February and he was honest with me he can't tell what he sees or it's the swelling went down and it's the rest off the tumour, or it's scar tissue, or my tumour growing back need to wait another 6months to be able to know what next. But for the rest off my life I will have mri every 6 months to be available to see when it starts growing back. It's not easy, but I'm trying my best taking one day at the time and cherish every small thing that before I was taking them for granted. I am brain tumour survival 💜💜
