My Relay for Life event

This year I'm taking part in the Sligo event at ATU Sligo, Ash Lane, Ballytivnan, Co. Sligo. An amazing community event that will take place over 24 hours.

*Why I'm Taking Part in Relay For Life Sligo*

This year, I’m not only taking part in Relay For Life Sligo, I’m also proud to be part of the local committee helping to bring this incredible event to our community for the very first time.

Relay For Life is a 24-hour event that brings people together in hope, in remembrance, and in solidarity and I’m honoured to help make it happen here in Sligo.

I’m walking in memory of loved ones I've lost, in support of those currently facing cancer, and with hope for a future where no one has to go through this journey alone.

I’ve joined the *Party People Team*, and together we’re raising funds for the Irish Cancer Society, whose vital work includes:

* Night Nurses to provide comfort and dignity at home

* Volunteer Drivers to help patients get to life-saving treatment

* Counselling services and emotional support

* A freephone support line

* Ground-breaking research to improve outcomes and save lives

If you can, please support our team by making a donation. *Every euro really does make a difference* and it brings us all one step closer to a world without cancer.

And if you’re local, we’d love you to come along to ATU Sligo on 13-14 September. Whether you walk a lap or simply soak up the atmosphere, your presence matters.
