This year I'm taking part in the Sligo event at ATU Sligo, Ash Lane, Ballytivnan, Co. Sligo. An amazing community event that will take place over 24 hours.

I’m fundraising for a great cause

Funds raised from this event will support vital support services for people living with cancer. These much needed funds will help the Irish Cancer Society continue to provide Night Nurses, Volunteer Drivers, a freephone Support line, counselling sessions, fund life changing research & much more.

On a note of personal experience, last year I'd to have a biopsy on my throat for what thankfully turned out to be a false alarm 🙏❤️‍🩹

What I found of huge help and support was all the Irish Cancer Society literature on the subject, and the helpline to ask questions. And that was without even actually having cancer.
They help so many people, patients & families, around the country every year by volunteers and fundraising support ❤️

I know it's super short notice but I've joined in a Relay for Life team happening this weekend, raising funds for The Irish Cancer Society. Our relay team will be walking for 24hrs.
It's in honour and gratitude for a friend's mum, who received tremendous support till her dying day.
