This year I'm taking part in the Westmeath event at Tyrrellspass GAA Club, Mullingar Road, Tyrrellspass. An amazing community event that will take place over 24 hours.

I’m fundraising for a great cause

Funds raised from this event will support vital support services for people living with cancer. These much needed funds will help the Irish Cancer Society continue to provide Night Nurses, Volunteer Drivers, a freephone Support line, counselling sessions, fund life changing research & much more.

Cancers a bitch

As some of you may know, our journey with the 'big C' has been something of a bitch in recent years.
It's probably time we taught that bitch a lesson, 
I'm participating in the walk for life for Brigid who fought like hell but lost her fight and for Mick, Anne and Emma who are loving life to the fullest because with every new day comes new advances and new days for people who never thought they'd see them. 
We can make a difference. We just need to get involved.
