This year I'm taking part in the Mayo event at The Mall, Castlebar. An amazing community event that will take place over 24 hours.

I’m fundraising for a great cause

Funds raised from this event will support vital support services for people living with cancer. These much needed funds will help the Irish Cancer Society continue to provide Night Nurses, Volunteer Drivers, a freephone Support line, counselling sessions, fund life changing research & much more.

Relay for Life 2026 - Team GD

Friday 15th May
I am taking part in Relay for Life 2026 as part of Team GD, in support of my colleague who is undergping treatment and in memory of my sister-in-law Grace and brother-in-law Seamus, who both suffered from cancer. In addition, I wish to give thanks for getting over recent personal health difficulties. I will be walking from 5pm on Saturday & from 4pm on Sunday.
