Relay for Life - Join our Muff Mavericks team
We can be pretty sure that cancer has touched each of us reading this in one way or another. Be that personally, family, friends, colleagues, people in your parish, townland, estate or village. It touches us all in one way or another.We've all shared experiences when it comes to this disease and each us reading this knows of others that have passed while people near and dear to us are battling their own battles right now.
I'm inviting friends, family and those in the community in Muff join this team or just come along to Relay for Life starting at 4pm Saturday the 25th of May to 4pm on Sunday the 26th of May 2024. It's in the Sports-field at the ATU Campus, Letterkenny. Perhaps you can spare a little time and take a walk with others with their own experiences to keep this relay running for this 24hr period.
Funds raised from this event will support vital support services for people living with cancer. These much needed funds will help the Irish Cancer Society continue to provide Night Nurses, Volunteer Drivers, a freephone Support line, counselling sessions, fund life changing research & much more.
Your help, will help to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families, together we can ensure that no-one has to go through their cancer journey alone.
