Hello, I have signed up to cycle for an hour at midnight tomorrow as part of a Relay for Life 24 hour event, raising funds for the Irish Cancer Society, as my husband Garreth has been directly affected.
We recently got the fantastic news that Garreth is now in remission after almost 2 years of surgeries, treatments and uncertainty.
We are so grateful to all those who supported him on his journey and we have so much to be thankful for.
Unfortunately cancer affects everyone differently and I know many others currently undergoing treatment, having difficulty recovering and others who sadly have lost their battle again this cruel disease.
I’ll be cycling to remember all of those who have been affected, whether directly or indirectly, it’s hard on everyone.
