Westmeath

My Relay for Life event

I’m raising funds to support cancer patients and their families across Ireland. You can show your support too, by making a donation to my page today.

This year I'm taking part in the Westmeath event at Tyrrellspass GAA Club, Mullingar Road, Tyrrellspass. An amazing community event that will take place over 24 hours.

Relay For Life Westmeath 2026

Hello! This is Susan. I am almost 1.5 years clear of cancer, and feeling hopeful. Now I feel well enough to try and raise some funds to help other people on their cancer journey.

By joining my team, you can walk with me for 1 hour around the Tyrrellspass GAA track, or you can walk with me for 6 hours, or you can walk with me for 24 hours - you choose. It would be great if you could get a bit of sponsorship to help me to raise a good amount - I don't want anybody else to raise more than us - we want to be the best!!! Everybody is welcome to join my team, and participate in Relay for Life Westmeath on Saturday 19th and / or Sunday 20th September 2026 from 2pm on Saturday until 2pm on Sunday in Tyrrellspass GAA, Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath.

There is some official information from the Irish Cancer Society below.

The "S" in "S" Bombs can mean what you want it to mean. For me, it means strength, solidarity, and Susan, of course!

With love and thank you so much for joining me,

Susan x

Your help today, will help to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families, together we can ensure that no-one has to go through their cancer journey alone.

Introducing Rose, my youngest. I am delighted that Rose is on The "S" Bombs Team. Read a little about Rose and her connection to Relay For Life below. "Cancer has affected so many of us, our families and our friends; therefore, I believe that fundraising for the Irish Cancer Society is extremely important. I am doing this for my Mum, who is a Survivor, but also for my Grampy Carey, who my family lost to cancer before I was born. My heart will be with all those affected by cancer at the event, and I will be thinking and praying for you all." Thank you so much Rose 🌟

The 'S' Bombs - Meet My Team

Friday 21st Aug
Introducing the lovely Kian, who is a great friend of mine. I am honoured to have Kian on The "S" Bombs Team. Read a little about Kian and his connection to Relay For Life below. "Hi all my name is Kian and this is my first year being involved with the Relay for life. I decided to follow along Susan and join the S Bomb team 🤩 I have chosen to get involved with this event because all proceeds will go to the Irish Cancer Society which is an amazing organisation that provides free care, support, and information to people affected by cancer. I know many people who’ve lost loved ones to cancer and I want to do what I can to help" 💛💜 We won’t give up until cancer does 💜💛 Thank you so much Kian 🌟
