This year I'm taking part in the Kildare event at The Curragh Racecourse, Newbridge, Co. Kildare. An amazing community event that will take place over 24 hours.

I’m fundraising for a great cause

Funds raised from this event will support vital support services for people living with cancer. These much needed funds will help the Irish Cancer Society continue to provide Night Nurses, Volunteer Drivers, a freephone Support line, counselling sessions, fund life changing research & much more.

Why our team Relay

Wednesday 18th Feb
We are from a small village called Coill Dubh, where cancer has hit many people some not surviving but others are here to tell the tale and help Celebrate, Remember & Fight Back. 
Our team captain Dinny has gone through 2 cancer diagnoses on the same day in 2021. Having gone through treatment & operations he decided one night while sitting talking with family & friends to enter Relay For Life Kildare and during that conversation we came up with the Team name Dinnys Disciples.
2026 is our 5th year entering the event.
We also want to remember Peg Hogan (RIP) & Catherine Bagnall (RIP) who have passed but would have been our biggest team helpers if they were still here.
