Team Donna's Army are fundraising for a great cause. 2026 marks the fourth year that Donna’s Army will take part in Relay For Life Kildare, honouring the memory of Monica’s beloved sister Donna, who sadly passed away from cancer in 2022 aged just 48.
Relay For Life holds a very special place in the hearts of this team. Made up of family and friends, Donna’s Army comes together each year to celebrate Donna’s life, remember the wonderful memories shared with her, and raise vital funds for the Irish Cancer Society to support those affected by cancer in Kildare. Donna truly loved life and lived it to the fullest. She adored spending time with family and friends, enjoying nights out filled with music, dancing, laughter, and fun. Known for her iconic red lipstick and for calling everyone “chick,” Donna’s vibrant personality continues to shine through the team’s Relay banner and spirit every year. Funds raised from this event will support vital support services for people living with cancer. These much needed funds will help the Irish Cancer Society continue to provide Night Nurses, Volunteer Drivers, a freephone Support line, counselling sessions, fund life changing research & much more.
